It was probably the easiest car/ truck buying experience that I have ever had. Initial test drive was courteous and low pressure. I negotiated price mainly over the phone, and Jim Cook held to our agreed upon offer; no surprises. The staff was incredible friendly in a very authentic way. This place truly has a family feel. Getting approved for financing, setting up my insurance coverage on the new truck, and signing all of the paperwork with finance took only about an hour-and-a-half, which is pretty remarkable in my experience. I received a great deal on my new truck and an experience that didn’t leave my head spinning. The included 10yr/ 100,000 mile Powertrain warranty was icing on the cake. I had gone to 3 different car dealers in about a two week time span. The first car lot had a person on there own to sell cars way to early. She could not answer over half of my questions. 2nd lot I had been on the lot more than a half hour. I never did see a sales person other than watching them walk around inside the building. These folks at Cooks walked their whole lot with me and the young girl new her product. She was very polite and didn’t over reach into what I was after. A person that tries to up sell a car is only looking out for themselves and not the buyer. Once inside the store the whole staff made you feel like you are a part of them.

We have been in Marion, NC for 17 months. I have a company truck and a Duramax Silverado that Jim Cooks team has serviced for us the entire time, as needed. We find the team here to be the most Friendly and Professional people to associate with as we have ever known as we use only GM service for both vehicles. They Always perform the services asked for , if service is not needed at the time , you will be informed as to not pay the extra cost. They remember our names and treat us as friends they have always known. We also purchased and had a “Roll -N- Loc” bed cover installed there and are very satisfied with price and installation. I was greeted and asked who I was in very friendly way. She knew I was there to get my heater check. She showed me to the lounge area to wait. My wait was not too bad. I hate to keep saying she, but I cannot remember her name. But she came and told me they were finished in a very pleasant way. I went to the window to pay, and they were very pleasant as well. I am satisfied with the heat that now comes out of my heater when I turn the fan on.

My husband and I were camping in Marion the first part of September and, unfortunately, had a problem with our Chevrolet Silverado truck. We were referred to Jim Cook Chevrolet and we cannot say enough about the excellent staff and service that we received that day (9-9-2020). Our problem was a bit worse than first anticipated, but the service staff and receptionists all stayed an extra hour after closing to accommodate us since we had no family or friends to come pick us up and bring us back the following morning once the job was complete. We definitely would go back to Jim Cook’s at any time we are in the Marion, NC area if we are having vehicle issues.... they were amazing!!!
