We bought a GMC truck and while we've owned a lot of cars, this was our first venture into trucks. Hunter was our salesperson and he was excellent. He's very knowledgeable about vehicles and their features and specifally about the truck we bought. We asked him about every feature that was listed and his answers helped us understand what we were buying. When we took possession of the vehicle, he patiently went over everything, every button, every feature every question we had. He's an asset to your dealership.

Jim Cook Chevy did an excellent job fixing my car. They were very informative. The only thing I would add is, they should have more loaner cars or even cars that customers can pay to rent since there isn't a car rental place in McDowell County. It was very hard to find a way back and forth to work for 3 days.

We had the best experience! Gary McNeely is a true professional as he went over and above the call of duty. I flew into the Asheville airport early morning August 5 and Gary was there to pick me up. He even offered to have someone pick me up at my house some 300 miles away if necessary. We went to the dealership and everything went smooth with the entire staff. I would highly recommend this dealership for any new or used vehicles. I honestly feel like there will be service after the sale with this dealership. This is the second vehicle I have purchased here in the past year. This dealership gives you the small town 100 percent customer service oriented experience that I wanted. This is something that is missing from most of the large dealerships. My sales person Gary is a template for how all sales associates need to be. He is calm, doesn't apply pressure, and feels like he wants to make the purchase experience favorable at every step. This was the primary reason I skipped all the dealerships close to me and drove 75 minutes to Jim Cook.

The small town dealership vibe is what drew me here to look at trucks. I've been to other dealers the last couple weeks with literally hundreds of vehicles but you never see the same sales person twice. Gary was extremely patient and knowledgeable and Jeremy was helpful and willing to work with me to get me into the truck I wanted. Everyone was super friendly but also no-nonsense and quick with the deal, I like that. Highly recommend this place!

I knew going in to the buying process that 2021 trucks were hard to come by, and it just worked out that they got some in right before I showed up.
