Found a new trailblazer, on the lot. The salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicle. I got a trailer hitch added to the vehicle and the service department went way above and beyond getting the vehicle in the shop to install it. Awesome dealership, highly recommend.

Had a very odd situation with a car recently, and the service at Jim Cook was phenomenal. I’ve had terrible dealings with another local dealer, so I wanted to give another service center a try, and I’m glad I did. Landon and Mike kept me in the loop about my repair, and the rest of the service team had me back in my car sooner than I thought. I’ll be giving them my business in the future.

had made the appointment for 10:30am on 12/2/22 and we arrived at 10:31am. We were immediately greeted and taken care of. The guys had installed the roof rails to my 2023 GMC Yukon Denali in less than 25 minutes. One of the young men that installed it even talked us through how to slide them back and forth by unlocking them. Our experience could not have been any better.

It has been 86 days since my GMC was dropped off at Jim Cook for repair. Update: Our GMC has been with Jim Cooks for 119 days as of today. The part to fix our vehicle is still not being manufactured, so there is still no estimated time as to when we will be getting our GMC fixed :( We have updated our review to a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ solely due to the efforts the folks at Jim Cooks are making to accommodate our needs while we continue to wait on the unknown ETA for a part to fix our GMC.

Hi Scarlet, I have tried reaching out to you twice over the last two days and was unable to speak with you. As you have discussed with your Service Advisor Mike, the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) that is required to repair your vehicle is currently on backorder from the manufacturer due to a shortage of raw material and supply chain issues. While I realize this situation is frustrating, we have been in contact with General Motors regarding your repair for the entire length of time your vehicle has been down. We have escalated your part service case to the highest priority and at this point have been speaking with our GM representatives on a weekly basis waiting for updates. While we have been hoping for a quick resolution, we have no control over GM's ability to produce this part, which is why we have had you in one of our Service Loaner vehicles for more than 80 days at this point free of charge. I would love to speak with you more about this if you could return my call at (828)652-3221. Landon

The issue was repaired. There was some kind of ring left on the drivers seat. It looked almost like a coffee cup ring. What ever was set on the seat left a ring that was cleanable.

As someone who used to work there I can honestly and true fully tell you that this is hands down the best dealership in town! Starting with sales you have Lee, Jeremy, hunter, Al and can’t forget Gary, who are literally the best sales people I’ve ever met they are always on top of everything making sure there customers are happy and have what they need. Then you have service, Cynthia is a very great person who is always on top of everything in the service department, moving on to the parts department you have Casey and Tyler, great guys friendly and definitely on top of everything! Can’t forget the man himself Landon the service manager really great guy always staying busy and making sure everything is up to par. Can’t forget Harvey the alignment man who in my personal opinion is the best alignment man in this town, he knows his stuff and is very good at his job.I always recommend my friends and family to come here because they have service that is unmatched by anyone else. Keep up the good work guys!!

Jim Cook Chevy did an excellent job fixing my car. They were very informative. The only thing I would add is, they should have more loaner cars or even cars that customers can pay to rent since there isn't a car rental place in McDowell County. It was very hard to find a way back and forth to work for 3 days.

Parts not readily available. Scheduled Oil Change and dealership failed to make sure all the needed parts to perform the Job were on Hand. This caused delay and getting the vehicle back in a timely manner

Halfway home my car started overheating. My coolant was low and after adding water it was still overheating. I managed to make it to this Chevy place at 5pm yesterday, having never been there before. In an hour, they had me back on the road. My radiator hose had a crack. They didn't have the correct size tubes, but were able to clamp new ones down to get me home. I had my dogs with me, they let us in the waiting room with them and offered them water and a lot of attention in all of their apprehension. I can't thank these ladies and gentlemen enough.

Took our 2007 Suburban to Jim Cooks. The check engine light was on and lost power. The man at service desk was extremely helpful and very nice. I explained that this was my only vehicle and could he help me out on getting it in and fixed. This was at 1:00 Thursday, at 10:30 Friday morning he called and said it was ready to go. And cost wasn't as bad as I thought. Would recommend Jim Cooks to anyone. Thanks Jim Cooks The Barrier family
